Killdeer Sitting On Nest With Eggs - And Doing Broken Wing Display

I've been a lover of nature and the outdoors for a long time, so this wasn't the first time that I've seen Killdeer eggs, or a Killdeer doing a broken wing display. It is however the first time that I've ever seen a Killdeer actually sitting on it's nest. It was just one of those lucky accidents, but I'm happy that I had my camera and was able to gets some video of it. It's always amazed me that they are able to lay eggs on the ground and then be able to raise their babies without predators getting them most of the time. The broken wing display is something that they do to try to lure you away from their nests. The first time you see it, it's hard not to think that there is something "wrong" with the bird.
