Traditional Rajasthani Dal bati churma without microwave or pressure cooker

Dal bati churma is a famous Rajasthani dish , it’s very rich and delicious to eat. The most important ingredients is pure ghee to make these recipe, you can make homemade pure ghee within 20 minutes, here is the recipe link /watch/kHsCZfSe0cIeC Dal or lentils, wheat flour and ghee these are the main three ingredients to make these delicious recipe. Let’s have a look at the ingredients Ingredients we need to make Dal We need five types of dal or lentils, and all lentils we will take at same quantities 1/4 cup of red lentils or masur daal 1/4 cup of split green gram or moong daal 1/4 cup of split Bengal gram or chana dal 1/4 cup of split black gram or urad dal 1/4 cup of split red gram or ARHAR dal 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 3 green chilies finely chopped 10 cloves of garlic finely chopped 1 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp Hing or asafoetida 2 tbsp ghee Salt to test 1 tomato finely chopped Coriander leafs Mixed all dal , washed well , add water and boiled. Then add 2 tbsp ghee in a kadai , add cumin seeds and 1/2 tsp hing , add finely chopped garlic and green chilli, add 1 tsp turmeric powder and Kashmiri red chilli powder to it , cook for few seconds then add the pre boiled daal with these , if you want you can add tomato slices (optional) , add salt to test . Boiled for few more minutes then add chopped coriander leafs and switch off the flame. For bati and churma ingredients we need 2 CUP wheat flour 1 tbsp ghee We can’t forget the good quality ghee for making bati , it’s test best when you use pure ghee , here are the recipe of making pure ghee within 20 minutes you can prepare at home /watch/kHsCZfSe0cIeC Salt to test Ajwaain 1 tsp Warm water as required Chopped Dry fruits 1/4 cup Powder sugar according to test How to make bati and churma Take a bowl and add 2 cup wheat flour to it , add 1 tbsp ghee , ajwaain and salt , mixed well , the mixture should get shaped when you hold it in hand . Then add warm water to it as required and kneed the dough as we make our roti / chapati dough . Divide the dough in equal portion and make lemon size ball . Try to make some space inside the ball then press it with plum and give it a flattened shape . Now you can bake it in two different way First you can take a deep bottom covered pan , apply some ghee in it and place the bari inside it and cover , keep the flame lower medium. check it every 3-4 minutes, keep turn it till it bake from all side The second way is place a stand or rack on top of oven and place the bati on top of the rack , keep the flame lower medium and check it every few minutes, turn it so it baked equally from all side , it will take 18-20 minutes to complete when you keep the flame lower medium. Prepare a deep bottom utensils with liquid ghee, When the bati get baked direct place the bati in ghee , rest it for 2-3 minutes then take it out . For churma don’t need to dip the bati in ghee, broke the dry bati and place it in mixture jar , switch on the mixture and make a dry powder of it . Heat little ghee in a pan and roasted the mixture powder in ghee for few seconds, turn off the flame and add chopped dry fruits and powder sugar . Mixed well . Churma is ready to serve.
