Using Records from the end of The Little Ice Age, which didn't switch off it just became less severe over many decades and it remained harsh in winters for a long time afterwards. Is poor science.
I am not denying Climate Change some is natural some is man made. We can only deal with what we are the cause of and not that is natural at this time.
I have read that Ice Ages are preceded by a period of Global Warming and then a sudden shift and the glaciers start advancing. This could be what is happening now. We are in the longest Interglacial Period and are about 1000 years over due by some estimates.
