@1guerrerogilbertoمنذ 3 سنوات Great shop Man! Your concrete guy left a big bird bath on your driveway. I would ask him to replace that section and slope it correctly. 33
  • @
@YoitsDjohnمنذ 3 سنوات Can't say they did a good job on the concrete when there's a literal lake right behind you 24
  • @
@tjmoatمنذ 3 سنوات Bar Grating is supposed to span with the deep bars from side to side not along the length of the grate. That is why they have bowed. 20
  • @
@bigskillet9591منذ 3 سنوات Brotha, you have came a long way. From installing Bilsteins at your home in Hawaii to having a shop and employees, and expanding your family. Proud of you man, keep going up 10

@nickyarnot2132منذ 3 سنوات Love the shop. I agree with everything you’ve said. The other things that I would change/add is, the driveway. Right infront of the doors I would extend the driveway out like 10 12 15 feet so that you don’t have to swing out wide into the grass to get into the 2nd two doors. And also I would make a pad next to the building to the right and add an outdoor lift. And definitely put lifts into the shop. ....وسعت

@ronthompson2366منذ 3 سنوات Beautiful shop. Still don't know what the foam on the doors does lol. assuming sound proofing. Great idea just not seen it before. What kind of exhaust id="hidden3" class="buttons"> system do you have. To exhaust when a vehicle is running ? Totally agree with the idea of a loft.. office space, lounge/ break area (both). Next shop throw some solar panels on the roof offset electrical costs. Small attached room for air compressor and hot water heater. Great idea lighting on lower wall area. Really good for detail work. Probably a stack washer and dryer for washing reusable polish towels. lastly room for a lift . But I have to say it's a beautiful shop. Sure the next one is always bigger and better. That called experience, growth and SUCCESS. Great job . ....وسعت

@dhaightful6163منذ 3 سنوات Take your grating and cut it into short pieces and turn it. Tack weld at the joints. It will take the load of the trucks. PS, if you had built the slab 3'' higher you would have been safe from the rain water. 1
  • @
@jasoncielo773منذ 3 سنوات Dude cut the mesh the wrong way. definitely drive on if installed 90⁰ the other way. Can't wait for my own workshop, very jealous! Looks killa 1
  • @
@kellenjames9906منذ 2 سنوات Couple things for next time,
concrete up 6" higher, then grade away from building, then your French drain would have worked fine.
a id="hidden5" class="buttons"> floor drain.just a little drain with a steel grate over the top in the middle of your floor. Slope the floor into the drain and all the water drains out of your building. Dunno about it being up to code or not, but just tie it into your french drain and you don't have as much an issue with water inside your building.
With those roll up doors, there are air barriers you can install around them to lower air infiltration and make it a little more efficient. They are 6" brooms installed all around the door that keep air from blowing around the doors, which are really hard to seal. You see them often on commercial buildings.

@Poker_76منذ 3 سنوات On my next shop, I'll be having an entrance and exit door. That has been determined not to be true. LOL New shop is still dope. Look forward to seeing the finished product. 1

@AngelHernandez-ns6roمنذ 3 سنوات What happened with the low spot on the driveway ? 8
  • @
@MooreGravyمنذ 3 سنوات T6 and I bought a Fumoto oil drain valve (with the nipple) about 4 years ago for $25. I save the empty jugs from the last change and drain it straight id="hidden7" class="buttons"> into those. No more oil pan and zero mess. Not necessary but it's worth it. Especially if you have frequent oil changes. ....وسعت

@937MIK3منذ 3 سنوات Extend the concrete infront of the shop and maybe widen the driveway and your draining will be fine. That’s a strange concrete layout for a 3 bay garage lol 14
  • @
@HalfAssHomesteadمنذ 3 سنوات I would definitely go taller. My shop in the plans is for my print shop, so I want the offices and design studio as well as extra storage above. I also id="hidden9" class="buttons"> would have added a bathroom on each level. Since we both have employees, a dedicated lounge for taking breaks, etc. would also be a plus. ....وسعت

@mikebest4079منذ 3 سنوات Agree on the taller shop just in case later on down the road you might want to add a four post lift. Needs to be closer to the highway. Make the distances id="hidden10" class="buttons"> between doors greater so you dont worry about door dings. Just my thoughts. ....وسعت
  • @
@gradykenمنذ 3 سنوات If you haven't already painted the grates, get some CRC Rust Converter and paint that on the grates first. It will convert the rust to a solid black id="hidden11" class="buttons"> surface and should reduce or even stop the rusting. Then, you can paint Rust-oleum (or whatever) over the grates. But if the paint wears off, the CRC Rust Converter should still work to stop/reduce rusting. ....وسعت

@cl18od6منذ 3 سنوات The grating is in the wrong way to drive on, It should be turned 90 degrees and cut to fit the drain. Pieces of flats should be welded on the cut edges id="hidden12" class="buttons"> making the outside a square box, then the weight of the vehicles will be better supported when crossing. f you put drains around another shop you should consider using 2 1/2" grating done the same way as I suggested and then you should be able to run heavy weights over it. ....وسعت 2

@davidlogel2350منذ 3 سنوات Put a two post lift in your forever shop. You’ll be glad you did. We ended up 64”x120” and about 18’6” high. Office in the corner, mechanical room. Two bathrooms. Apartment style bedroom above office and a rec room also ok 2nd floor. ....وسعت 1

@richardbarcus4309العام الماضي Hey boss to save a lot of back busting work call a local plumber that has a lateral line cleaner that uses high pressure water to clean out your French id="hidden14" class="buttons"> drain it shouldn't cost more than $200 and not take more than an half hour for the French drain to be like new again and where the pipe does a 90° bend have him lower the pressure and he can make the turn. at the bend install a clean out then in the future you can buy a nozzle with a forward jet and use your garden hose eliminating future cost just a suggestion I had my own business cleaning and CCTV sewer and storm drains hope this helps you out ....وسعت

  • @
@livingaboardمنذ 2 سنوات Maybe just get somebody or you could weld some extra metal on those where the trucks run over them and that would help. And id get some edging for the dirt coming off the lawn so it doesn't get in the drains

@Knightstalking2منذ 3 سنوات I think it would be a good idea if put cement in front of all three bay doors instead of just the one. From what it looks like you have to drive through id="hidden20" class="buttons"> your grass to use the other two doors. Also I was thinking you could add a lift in the middle bay to so you don’t have to crawl under the vehicle to change the oil or anything else you need to do under the vehicle. I say the middle bay because it has the biggest door and highest part of the roof. ....وسعت

  • @
@lanehale9210منذ 3 سنوات I’ve drove over grates like yours for your drain troughs before and never bowed. I’ve also installed them. They cut those grates the wrong way and that caused them to bow.

  • @
@blowingdieselمنذ 3 سنوات The grates are fine to drive over the problem is that they are installed wrong they need to be flipped 90* right now all the pressure from the trucks is on the small rods that’s why they are bending 10

  • @
@davidkelly9218منذ 3 سنوات Have you fixed your drainage grates yet? These need to be turned 90 degrees so that the heavy flat bars go from side to side. The small bars that have bent are just to hold the flat bar in place vertically.
