It's currently wild garlic time. I was currently able to harvest a lot of wild garlic in my garden, but what do you process all the wild garlic into? There is a simple answer to that... and that is delicious homemade wild garlic oil😋. Preparing wild garlic oil is relatively easy. All you need is a blender, 50 g wild garlic, 300 ml sunflower oil, two pinches, salt and some lemon peel... the whole thing is mixed in the blender for 1-2 minutes and then filtered with a fine kitchen sieve. I fill the finished wild garlic oil into small bottles or jars... sealed in the fridge, the wild garlic oil will last for several months! My homemade wild garlic oil goes perfectly with salads, or you can refine a salad dressing... the bright green wild garlic oil also looks great as a topping for soup plates, salads and vegetable variations... Have fun collecting wild herbs... and processing your loot😉👍 Ingredients: 50g wild garlic 300g sunflower oil 2 pinches of salt 1 lemon (organic quality) Accessories: 1 sharp kitchen knife 1 cutting board 1 vegetable peeler (vegetable peeler) 1 funnel 1 fine kitchen sieve 1 blender 1 measuring cup 1 kitchen scale 1 wooden spoon 1 tablespoon/teaspoon 1-2 small bottles or glasses Time required: 1-2 minutes to wash the wild garlic and lemon 1 minute to peel the lemon peel 1-2 minutes to roughly chop the wild garlic with a kitchen knife 1-2 minutes to add all ingredients to the blender 1-2 minutes to mix all ingredients Let the wild garlic oil mixture steep for 10-15 minutes 3-4 minutes for filtering & filling into bottles or jars The homemade wild garlic oil will keep sealed in the fridge for several months😉!
