San Diego Zoo Safari Park - Izu The Lion King

This was truly the highlight of my trip to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. You know when you hear or see someone famous in a movie or on TV and you dream of meeting them one day? I first heard about Izu and the lionesses Mina and Oshana in a documentary from Nat Geo Wild starring Betty White, but I never thought I'd get to see them. So, this was a dream come true. When I saw Izu the first time in person, he instantly reminded me of Mufasa from The Lion King. When he looked at me, it was like he was looking deep into my soul and he understood how important lion are to me.
