Dragon Ball GT: DAN Kokoro Hikareteku - English, FUNimation

FUNimation first aired their dub of GT in November of 2003. That was a mere 8 months after Blue Water had first aired their dub of the show. It would later start receiving home media releases in July of 2004. The DVD's that GT were released on all used the same opening "Step Into the Grand Tour", as well as the first broadcasts on TV. However, it wasn't until 2008 when the opening in this video was used. It was first used on FUNi's "Remastered" home release of GT, coined by fans as the "Green Bricks". Unlike the Orange Bricks, the Green Bricks and Blue Bricks didn't necessarily deserve the word "Bricks" in their name since they were actually pretty competent releases of their respective shows. All that aside, with the release of the Green Bricks came a new English opening based off of the original Japanese opening song for GT named "DAN DAN Kokoro Hikareteku". The English version was sung by Vic Mignogna. Though, 1 more thing I find pretty interesting before I send y'all off is that the original NickToons broadcast for GT was in January of 2012 and yet that airing still used Step Into the Grand Tour instead of this new opening. And as a person who grew up watching the NickToons broadcast, I look back incredibly mad that I was force fed that opening instead of this beaut of a song that was already made 4 YEARS prior.
