I live in a place I don't see the latest & id="hidden2" class="buttons"> greatest in cameras. Moving from the BIG CITY the only thing I truly miss is my time at the local camera shop where I could go and play with everything before buying. Almost all of my camera purchases the last 3 years are done online. Finding the best price has saved me a small fortune. But without in-depth reviews like yours, I would be worried about spending $$$ not assured of what exactly I'm getting. I gave up shooting professionally on my Nikon F & D series cameras 3 years ago. Now I use and am heavily invested in the Panasonic GH series, DJI Mavic's, and GoPro and very happy with my choices. Thank you for what you do ....وسعت 12

I have had the pocket since release and love it, BUT then decided to get the Action when I lost my GoPro Session - id="hidden3" class="buttons"> at the time there were no reviews comparing the two and I assumed they would be different although similar in some ways and I HOPED that they would be complementary and they ARE! I could survive without the Action BUT not the Pocket, it is just so unique and such a useful form size. I have an A7iii, but find the quality of the video for my needs is just as good from the Pocket and I can mix the footage. The Action is AMAZING when it comes to action such as mountain biking, running etc as he Rocksteady is just incredible. So your video says it way better than I could, but if you can have both then have both, if only one then the Pocket wins hands down. Thank you again for a great review. The Old Dad. ....وسعت 22

I've had the Pocket since day 1, and my Action is on id="hidden5" class="buttons"> order. I fully agree with your conclusions. I intend to use the Action mounted on a backpack and in tight spaces, and the Pocket when I want less fisheye and full control, but I don't want a full-sized camera on a huge gimbal. If you get these, don't forget to budget for the accessories, especially the filters. The wheel is also very useful for the Pocket. ....وسعت 7

Don't id="hidden6" class="buttons"> know if they could fix that with firmware updates. On the Pocket it would be long term battery life (since no replaceable batteries) and its greater fragility. But I'll be watching your video several times before I decide. ....وسعت 7

@kennyadvocatمنذ 5 سنوات Amazing review. I always hated the fish-eye look on the GoPro so I am happy to hear the Osmo action is a little less wide. I'm still torn on which id="hidden7" class="buttons"> I want. I want to use this for basic blogging around NYC. Was thinking of using a harness mount or backpack strap mount. I see with the pocket a lot of settings are done via a phone connection. Will the gimbal know what to do when mounted on me and just left recording without any interaction? It would be awkward if I turn to the left and the pocket cam is facing the other way still. I do like that the pocket can do a timelapse with movement tho. =) ....وسعت

@ChrisParaynoمنذ 3 سنوات You got the nail on the coffin. For 90 percent of my workflow, the osmo pocket is excellent. If I need a wider FOV the adapter works great. The ONLY time id="hidden8" class="buttons"> I would use the action would be for actual underwater or inclament weather scenarios! Thanks for your review. ....وسعت

And i am wondering how the video quality/stabilization on the gx9 compares to the osmo pocket? Or is it worth buying both?
Worth mentioning that i am going to my sister’s wedding so will want to capture stills and video.

Pocket for most shooting and GoPro id="hidden15" class="buttons"> or Action, plus Insta 360 One X for going wide, action, and variety. But if I had to have just one, it would be the Pocket. ....وسعت

The WIFI module and ability to control the gimbal from a smartphone. It works extremely well and can help you create shots with a single selfie stick and the osmo that would take thousands of dollars to create with literally any other camera. ....وسعت 1
