The best is using them for lil legs on our cable boxes for lil legs. The cap's raise the boxes just enough to keep them cooler. I paint the cap's so they blend in with the boxes. I think to make it more of a “piece” on its own you could add a third dowel in the center angled outward, our you could make another front triangle of skewers and connect all four sides with the “cross cross” pieces, OR you could even mount in onto a DT canvas that you paint like “whitewashed” slays or that you wrap with a neutral remnant from hobby lobby or Joann’s!
